Briefly about the general area: A magnificent site to pop by near White River is Pine Hollow, and do take a hike on the Ball Point Trail.
This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Don't leave White River without visiting White River Falls State Park, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Pen Way Trail.
