Briefly about the general area: The Teeter Creek Loop is a nice hiking trail near Willamette River - Middle Fork; you undeniably should stop at Jasper
State Park if you're here. So many enjoyable things to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. There is a glorious hiking trail near Willamette River - Middle Fork called the Eagles Rest Trail; Elijah Bristow State Park is both nice and wonderful.
