  The natural beauty of Oregon and the playfulness of the water beats anything. The put-in location is a short drive from Eugene-Springfield, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Oregon are harder than the national norm, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. The nearby hotels are
    a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling
places. The wild scenery of the Central Cascade Range is great. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. There's camping available near Winberry Creek. This stretch of Winberry Creek in Oregon is 4 miles long and it is classified as a class III+(V) section by American Whitewater.

Places like Lowell State Park are splendid to stop at; good hiking is available along the Hardesty Trail. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is bountiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Fall Creek State Park is a wonderful spot any time of year, and there's magnificent hiking along the Eagles Rest Trail. At this river you will always have a good time. You're sure to stumble upon some smiling folks from Fall Creek here. Winberry Creek is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with lots of rainfall. November is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
