Pennsylvania whitewater, Bermudian Creek Adams York county, Pennsylvania Route 94 to Conewago Creek section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.   CLASS I-II     13.1 miles   This is a great creek to float/paddle mostly after a nice down pour. There is a lot of wildlife (eagles, hawks, osprey, muscovy duck, muskrat, deer, and an amazing spectacle I am not going to disclose). The water is great, has plenty of fish, and ranges in depth. It's always a great trip when the conditions are prime. Keep it clean and enjoy the swifts! Says The Birkwood The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Pennsylvania     are often easier than in other states, so better not forget that many of the rivers in this state are not very demanding. The natural beauty of Pennsylvania and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. If you're coming from Harrisburg-Carlisle it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. You might be into whitewater   rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag. Briefly about the general area: Gifford Pinchot State Park is both tremendous and stunning, and it's near Bermudian Creek; hey, Gotta ski right? Ski Roundtop is a glorious place to do that.
