The nature scenery of Bedford County and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Pennsylvania are often more     forgiving than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy. Briefly about the general area:   Going for a hike on the Garlick Trail is always a great adventure; you'll meet a lot of people from Osterburg here. Near Bobs Creek you locate the Reservoir Trail which is a great hiking trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blue Knob if you're here. At this river you will never have a bad time. Since you're here at Bobs Creek why not have a look at Sloan Hollow, and a journey to Blue Knob State Park rejuvenates the soul. The high level of rainfall makes Bobs Creek a pretty wet site. The month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
