  The starting point is not too far from Cumberland, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. This section of Brush Creek is 3.2 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. There are some good sections to paddle in this
    river system, the Covered Bridge to Wills Creek section is one of them. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so better not forget that many runs in this state are very easy. Some
people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. The nature scenery of Somerset County and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
