If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so better not forget that lots of rivers in this state are good for beginners. The nature scenery of Armstrong County and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camping stuff. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby.
