I used to live off the creek. My grandfather had a home 'Tomahawk' just below the bridge. I canoed this creek many times as a child. And unless the creek has become more 'violent' rafting is not difficult. It takes some know how, but not an expert. It's great fun. We did it in a canoe, rafting should be a breeze. Says Lynne Snyder

fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to
get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This is a very short section so better bring some good walking shoes.

Park is a striking site any time of year, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Portersville. Moraine State Park is a good place to have a look at, and don't leave Muddy Creek - Slippery Rock Tributary without first paying a visit to Grant City Falls.
