If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Pennsylvania you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers in this state are less demanding. This section of Otter Creek in York County is 4 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater     as a class I-II section. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
