There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from East Stroudsburg, if you're not familiar     with the area there's a road map further down the page. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Pennsylvania are often easier than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers in this state are good for beginners. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. The campgrounds here at Raymondskill Creek are pretty good. Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is a perfect spot to pop by, and no need to travel far to visit out of the ordinary stuff like The Cliff. Raymondskill Falls is a wonderful local attraction, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. Summertime at Raymondskill Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 70's.
