CLASS II-III(V)     7.8 miles

Does any one know anything about this river and paddeling in puerto rico in general? Cant seem to find much on the internet. Is it safe to camp, leave a car, stuff like that. Any info would help. Says Kyle

The beautiful scenery of Las Marias County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. The Rt. 124 bridge to Route 119 bridge stretch of Anasco River in Puerto Rico is 7.8 miles long and is a class II-III(V)
section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit
to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. If you're coming from Aguadilla-Isabela-San Sebastián it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip.
