The Harrisville to Nasonville section of Clear and Branch in Rhode Island is 7.5 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The starting location is a short drive from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. There are a few other     stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There's camping available near Clear and Branch. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. Briefly about the general area: Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a wonderful national park, and Upton State Forest is worth going to. On a pretty day you can visit Flynns Beach in the vicinity of Clear and Branch; a short trip to Boiling Spring is   always worthwhile. This river is always fun. The Ross Trail offers hiking at its best, and don't leave without stopping by Quaddick State Park. Clear and Branch is right by the Walkabout Trail, and Clear and Branch is not far at all from Oakland. Be careful coming to Clear and Branch, you might not ever wanna return home again. A day at pretty Spring Lake Beach in the vicinity of Clear and Branch is a magnificent thing to do. Clear and Branch gets a large amount of water. November is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
