Put in on 146 and out on Cooper Bridge Road around august 2005. Some trees to cross but typ. No water falls..Good trip. This is the Enoree River. Says Clifford DeYoung

The beautiful scenery of South Carolina and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. If you're coming from Greenville it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. A
bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in South Carolina is often easier than elsewhere, so better not forget that a large number
of rivers in this state are quite easy. This section of Enoree River in Greenville/ Spartanburg County is 4 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There are some good sections to paddle
in this river system, the South Carolina Route 14 Pelham to South Carolina Route 296 section is one of them. There are many good hotels to choose from, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip.

Briefly about the general area:
You're sure to come across some great folks from Simpsonville here. Everybody loves Paris Mountain State Park, and Pelham Falls is a striking location to explore while you're at Enoree River. This river is so good. The high level of rain makes Enoree River a rather wet place.
