The natural beauty of Greenville County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream will make you feel great. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Reedy Fork to Griffin Mill section is one of them. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is a very short section so better     bring some good walking shoes. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so don't forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. Briefly about the general area: Huff Creek is not far at all from Piedmont, and Paris Mountain State Park is a magnificent site to check out on a wonderful day.   Summertime highs at Huff Creek usually tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; night lows in the 30's for Huff Creek. Much precipitation falls at Huff Creek.
