  The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections in this state are pretty easy. The I-26 to Tyger River section of Jimmies Creek in South Carolina is 6 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-III section. There are campgrounds quite near the river where
    you can camp. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. The scenic beauty of Spartanburg County and the water flowing gracefully down Jimmies Creek
have people coming here. The put-in is not too far from Spartanburg, as you can see on the road map further down. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people  
coming here. The I-26 to Tyger River section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system.

People from Enoree love to come to Jimmies Creek, and Jimmies Creek is in close proximity to Croft State Park which is a lovely spot. High temperatures at Jimmies Creek through the summertime months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's while Jimmies Creek night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's. Jimmies Creek is a rather wet place mostly with a good deal of precipitation.
