| Rocky River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the High Shoals stretch is the only one. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Briefly about the general area: High Schoals is always fun to check out, and if you're visiting from Anderson,
you won't be the only one. Throughout the summer months at Rocky River highs are usually in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the
50's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Rocky River temperatures sink to the 20's. A lot of rain falls at Rocky River. March is the wettest month with most rain while April is typically the driest month.
