South Carolina whitewater, Twelvemile Creek Pickens county, Liberty Highway to South Carolina 137 section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.   CLASS I-II     4 miles   There was a dam towards the end of this river with a large sign overhead that reads ''Danger Spillway''. Ended up pulling the kayak upstream for an hour, hiked up to a road and asked some locals about the dam. There is a small path to the right, right at the edge of the dam that leads to the bottom. River itself was amazing, just wished we knew about the dam so we didn't have a freak out moment and have to spend the afternoon     fighting upstream.
