This section of Bee Creek in White/ Cumberland/ Van Buren County is 8 miles long and is a class III-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for     that. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. The beauty of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great plus for this river. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well.
