This stretch of Citico Creek in Tennessee is 4 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-IV section. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop   paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. Be careful coming to the Great Smoky Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Go for a hike on the Rocky Flats Trail, and there are splendid places to discover along the Indian Boundary Lake Trail. This river is so great. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Citico Creek get into the 80's.
