The US 127 to Barnett Bridge section of Clear Creek in Tennessee is 21 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The nature scenery of -blank- County and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers     here are not suitable for beginners. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your camping stuff too. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling rivers. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The beauty of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great   plus for this river. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. Briefly about the general area: A pleasant place to stop by in the vicinity of Clear Creek is Big Hollow; Clear Creek is close to Cumberland Mountain State Park which is a beautiful place. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. While you're here at Clear Creek you will meet lots of folks from nearby Clarkrange. Clear Creek usually gets a great deal of rainfall.
