If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short     distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater paddling here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great experience. So many cool things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just astonishing. A visit to Frozen Head State Park when you're here at Crooked Fork Creek is never a bad idea. Crooked Fork Creek sees pretty high levels of rain. Most of the rain falls through March, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
