The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Tennessee are often more challenging than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before     you come because it is a very popular destination. The nature scenery of Morgan County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. If you're coming from Harriman it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. And that's not all the things to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. You undeniably ought to explore Frozen Head State Park since you're here at Crooked Fork Creek.
