The scenic beauty of Tennessee and the water flowing gracefully down Flat Creek have people coming here. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while     have a lot of people coming here. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Briefly   about the general area: At Flat Creek you always meet someone from Hilham, and Standing Stone State Park is a great location to stretch your legs a bit. Flat Creek gets lots of water. March is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summer months at Flat Creek highs are mostly in the 80's, and the night is a tad colder of course, mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Flat Creek.
