This is an extremely short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. You might be into whitewater     rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of places for that. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The hike up back to parking area stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're not from around here don't forget   that rivers here are less forgiving.
