This stretch of Little Brush Creek in Sequatchie County is 2.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV-V section. The beautiful scenery of Sequatchie County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Tennessee tend     to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Whitewater paddling here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great experience. This is a somewhat short section so better bring some good walking shoes. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people.   You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Briefly about the general area: This is a popular place for people from Dunlap, and don't leave without visiting South Cumberland State Park. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Savage Point is in the neighborhood and always delightful to stop at, and nearby you come across Cunningham Hollow which is a pleasant location to visit. This is such a fun river.
