  The natural beauty of Tennessee and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. There are many good hotels to choose from, and if you make reservations in advance you're
    all set. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. This is one of a small number of paddling
stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This section of Little Harpeth River in Tennessee is 7 miles long and is a class I(II) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling places.

Radnor Lake State Park is a fine spot
 
to pop by on a lovely day, and at Little Harpeth River you always meet someone from Brentwood. High temperatures at Little Harpeth River during the summer months are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Little Harpeth River fall into the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Little Harpeth River a wet site. Most of the rain falls throughout March, and the driest month is October.
