The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Sevierville,   as you can see on the road map further down. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. The wild scenery of the Great Smoky Mountains is great. Briefly about the general area: Here at Little Pigeon River - West Prong you'll possibly meet some folks from Gatlinburg; splendid skiing awaits you at Ober Gatlinburg. And that's not everything you can do here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cove Mountain Trail; a trip to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is recommended.
