The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Tennessee are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. this river system. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations
| you might end up sleeping in your car. The to Center Hill Reservior stretch of Pine Creek is 1.5 miles long and is a class III-IV+(V) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other places. This is a short paddling stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.

You'll meet a lot of folks from Smithville here; Pine Creek is next to Edgar Evins State Park which is a lovely place. Rock Island State Park is both nice and striking, and it's in close proximity to Pine Creek. Throughout
the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Pine Creek. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Pine Creek. Pine Creek generally
gets much precipitation. All through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is October.
