Says Tony Hannah The Waterloo Falls to Spring Creek Community section of Spring Creek in Jackson County is 4 miles long     and is a class II-III(IV) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Tennessee and the water flowing gracefully down Spring Creek have people coming here. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots.   Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. If you're coming from Cookevi lle it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Briefly about the general area: Everybody loves Standing Stone State Park, and Hardscrabble Bluff is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. While you're here at Spring Creek you will meet lots of people from nearby Cookevi lle, and a cool spot to go to is Dave Bluff. This river is so great.
