Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Tennessee is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. The nature scenery of Cumberland County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here     and paddle. This stretch is short so better bring some good walking shoes. Whitewater paddling here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great experience. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The starting location is a short drive from Crossville, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Catoosa Road to Daddy's Creek section is one of them. A good workout and   just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of spots for that.
