This section of Brushy Creek in Texas is 6 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II+ section. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. There are some good stretches to paddle     in this river system, the FM 620 to Forest Cr Golf Club Road stretch is one of them. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Briefly about the general area:   There are magnificent spots to discover along the Hill Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Round Rock here. Going for a hike on the Good Water Trail is always a great adventure. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Brushy Creek. The wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is December. Summertime highs at Brushy Creek typically tend to be in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 70's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 50's with temperatures at Brushy Creek dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights.
