Started at Rio Bonito Cabin Resort and traveled to Camp Tejas. The trip was wonderful and beautiful. That was one of my best relaxing and fun kayak trips yet. Also Rio Bonito Cabin Resort provides nightly rates on some very beautiful cabins with full ammenities. I just have to say my trip was awesome and the North San Gabriel River from Rio Bonito Cabin Resort was a blast. Says Denny (see picture)

system. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whether
you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's perfect
for a one day trip.
Briefly about the general area: This is a popular place for folks from Liberty Hill; don't leave San Gabriel River - North Fork without first checking out Cedar Bluff.
