Briefly about the general area: Cedar Hill State Park is a nice location
to visit on a delightful day, and the nice folks of Desoto like to hang out close by. There are glorious places to look at along the Mountain Creek Lake Park Trail. Go for a hike on the Cedar Hill State Park Trail. The yearly
rain here at Ten Mile Creek is about average. May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Ten Mile Creek get into the 90's.
