Checked this out and looked at the river near the lake. The river isn't very big and would have been hitting rocks and portaging way to much for this to be any fun.
This section of East Canyon Creek in Morgan County is 16.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-II section. The scenic beauty of Morgan County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here |
to paddle. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater paddling here in the Wasatch Range is a great experience. If you hurry you can run
| this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your camping stuff. The Jeremy Ranch to 66 Bridge section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers in this state are not as hard as elsewhere.
