Emery county, Left Fork to Utah Experimental Farm section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

CLASS I-II     12.5 miles
The Left Fork to Utah Experimental Farm section of Huntington Creek in Emery County is 12.5 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Emery County and the water flowing gracefully down Huntington Creek will make you feel great. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Utah are often easier than in other
states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers in this state are less demanding. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all
set. If you're coming from Price it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling rivers. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of
people.
