This stretch of Ogden River in Utah is 5 miles long and it is classified as a class II-V section by American Whitewater. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Utah are easier than the national norm, so keep in mind that     many of the sections in this state are safe for beginners. The scenic beauty of Weber County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream will make you feel great. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. The beautiful Wasatch Range scenery is an added bonus. There   are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Briefly about the general area: Since you're here at Ogden River why not check out Sardine Canyon, and everybody close by loves skiing at Snowbasin. All year is a good time in the Wasatch Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. While you're here at Ogden River you will meet lots of people from nearby Eden. You absolutely should have a look at Wasatch-Cache National Forest since you're here at Ogden River, and going for a hike on the Skyline Trail is always a splendid adventure. A visit to Fort Buenaventura State Park when you're here at Ogden River is never a bad idea.
