After the bridge the log jams, second diversion dam and constant river splits can be fun in the right craft (13 ft raft, not recommended). Great rush! Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Utah tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. The scenic beauty of Utah and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream will make you feel great. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you   want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. Whitewater paddling here in the Wasatch Range is a great experience. There's camping available near Provo River. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. The Soapstone to Deer Creek Reservoir section of Provo River is 25 miles long and is a class I-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater.
