The Sinawava to South Campground stretch of Virgin River - North Fork in Utah is 8.5 miles long and is a class III-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. The nature scenery     of Washington County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Sinawava to South Campground section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Utah is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers in this state are less demanding. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. No shortage of good hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Briefly about the general area: Not far from Virgin   River - North Fork you hit upon The Spearhead; the Emerald Pools Trail offers hiking at its best. The Streaked Wall is a magnificent location to go to while in the neighborhood. There's magnificent hiking along the Sand Bench Trail, and don't leave Virgin River - North Fork without first paying a visit to Grotto Springs. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Court of the Patriarchs, and there are plenty of folks from Virgin here at Virgin River - North Fork. Virgin River - North Fork is pretty dried out regularly. The month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is June.
