  The starting location is a reasonable drive from Bennington, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that lots of rivers in this state are good for beginners. The Somerset Reservoir to Searsburg Reservoir section of Deerfield River - East Branch in -blank- County is 6 miles long and
    is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The nature scenery of -blank- County and the water flowing gracefully down Deerfield River - East Branch have people coming here. No shortage of good
hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There's camping available near Deerfield River - East Branch. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers.

Gotta ski! Haystack is a good spot to do that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Deerfield River - East Branch; Deerfield Ridge Trail is a good local trail. You'll meet a lot of folks from Wilmington here; when you're here it's always fun to take a look at Woodford State Park. This river has so much to offer. Molly Stark State Park is a great location to stretch your legs a bit. Deerfield River - East Branch usually gets a great deal of rain. Most of the rain falls throughout August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Summer at Deerfield River - East Branch comes with high temperatures in the 80's.
