Briefly about the general area: Lots of people from Bethel come to White River; you'll never forgive yourself
if you don’t go skiing at Twin Farms while you're here. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Green Mountains. A great place like Allis State Park in close proximity to White River is too good to leave out,
and a wooded vicinity nearby is Bethel Town Forest. This is such a fun river. Don't leave White River without visiting Silver Lake State Park, and don't leave White River without first checking out Heap Pinnacle.
