The Rappahannock School to Rush River stretch of Covington River is 4.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III section. This river system has a few good paddling sections     and the Rappahannock School to Rush River section is one of them. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that.
