This section of Baker River in Washington is 2.7 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II section of whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Washington are harder than the national norm, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Briefly about the general area: The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mt.Baker. A trip to Rockport
State Park invigorates the spirit. Baker River gets a good deal of water. The month with most of the rain is November, and July is when it's the driest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Baker River. For the period of the
moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Baker River.
