This section of Beckler River in King/Snohomish County is 7.3 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Ellensburg, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. You might have to settle for a hotel |

| number of paddling places. The natural beauty of Washington and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. is a rather wet place ordinarily with a great deal of precipitation. December is the month that gets the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month.
