The along FR 5270 section of Butter Creek is 2.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III section. people coming here. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery.

The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. of this area. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Have a good hiking adventure along the Tatoosh Trail. A great deal of precipitation falls at Butter Creek.
