This section of Calawah River in Washington is 14.5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III section. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your camping stuff. Briefly about the general area: Nothing
beats kicking back at Ruby Beach; Bogachiel State Park is both splendid and beautiful. This spot, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Hit the beach if you want, Boulder Beach is practically right here;
you'll probably meet some folks from Forks here. This river has so much to offer. Calawah River gets much water. The wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most, and August is the month with the least moisture.
