Washington whitewater, Cedar Creek

Grays Harbor county, Sherman Creek to Cedar Creek Road section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

CLASS II+     4.7 miles
The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. The put-in location is a short drive from Shelton, as you can see on the road map further down. The wonderful Washington scenery and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. There are campgrounds quite near the river where
you can camp. The beautiful Olympic Mountains scenery is an added bonus. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these
hotels fill up quick. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people.
