There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the C2400 bridge to Clearwater River stretch is one of them. Briefly about the general area: Ruby Beach is in the neighborhood
of Christmas Creek and is a wonderful beach to visit; a tour to Bogachiel State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back over and over.
Take a hike on the Pass Trail, and do put some time aside to spend at Rocky Rapids if you're here at Christmas Creek. This is such a fun river.
