CLASS V+     5.9 miles
  This section of Cispus River in Washington is 5.9 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V+ section. The nature scenery of Lewis County and the cool fresh water beats anything. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often more challenging than in other states, so better not forget that rivers here are less forgiving. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
    This river system is full of great paddling stretches, the Adams Fork to FR 23 Bridge stretch is just one of them. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. The river
winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.

You unquestionably ought to explore Gifford Pinchot National Forest since you're here at Cispus River, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Klickitat Trail. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If the weather is great here at Cispus River, you can go for a hike along the Table Mountain Trail. Summer at Cispus River arrives with high temperatures in the 70's.
