  The to Middle Fork Nooksack tributary section of Clearwater River - Middle Fork Nooksack Tributary is 1.9 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V section. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area
    has a large number of paddling rivers. The campgrounds here at Clearwater River - Middle Fork Nooksack Tributary are pretty good. If you're coming from Mount Vernon-Anacortes it's not a long drive at all to the starting
location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. The nature scenery  
of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Clearwater River - Middle Fork Nooksack Tributary are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. This is a short paddling stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over.
