The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. This section of Clearwater River - White River Tributary in Pierce County is 4 miles long and is rated by     American Whitewater as a class III section. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Bridge to confluence with White River section is one of them. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. The wonderful Pierce County scenery and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The wild scenery of the Northern Cascade Range is great. Whether you're whitewater   rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. Briefly about the general area: Go for a hike on the Clearwater Trail, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby Federation Forest State Park. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Here at Clearwater River - White River Tributary you'll perhaps meet some folks from Enumclaw, and a good location like Nolte State Park is too glorious to leave out.
